Vintage “Acousticon R” Drum Kit by Remo

Hire this Remo drum kit from North London in a fantastic “Blue Chromeburst” finish.  This rare drum kit probably from the late 1990s was 12 Years in the making by Remo.  Acousticon R 516 is a highly dense composite of a continuous linear wood fibre material combined with special resins, resulting in better low-frequency output, better projection, less water absorption and higher strength for holding tune and exceptionally smooth bearing edges. You will be comparing the sound to much more expensive sets eg. £2000 plus such as the Tama Star Classic which shares a similar design of Tom mounting.  The tom shells are 7mm thick. DW P5000 Kick drum pedal for that reassuring and responsive feel. This is a high end drum kit, at a very reasonable price because not many people know about it. Cymbal stands have been augmented with Pearl items that are reassuringly sturdy.  As a result we have a kit for hire that keeps everything firmly where it should, sounds great, and leaves many a drummer asking to buy it!  Supplied with coated batter heads and a drum matt. Various optional accessories available for this drum kit, including snare weight, clamp on cymbal arm, clamp on percussion arm, various percussion, extend this drum kit to a 6 piece drum kit with a Yamaha Stage Custom 16″ floor tom which has an almost identical finish.  Please ask.
