The box itself looks and feels high quality. The stainless steel mesh looks great. The box itself is nice and sturdy feeling, but with walls about 2mm thick, can flex a bit. Not a big problem as this will mostly sit in the water undisturbed. The box can be hung to various heights due to the hanger’s height adjustment holes, and can be adjusted from 0-2.5in hanging height in increments of .5in adjustments.The hanger clip is the only downside. It feels quite flimsy, and the clip that locks the hanger into the box feels just a tad precarious. The clip itself does not feel like it would be able to hold up too much weight, but assuming this is being hung inside of water, some of the weight of the box should be relieved so I would not worry too much about the load bearing capacity of the hanger unless you are putting heavy rocks inside the breeder.Overall, the breeder box is a great quality box that looks fantastic. The quality of the hanger clip is the only downside, but if used for the intended use case inside the water, I am confident that the hanger itself won’t be too much of an issue. [...]
