I have a 2016 subaru outback. When I went to buy the third set of tires for it (the first set went away quickly due to ruining one of them), I wanted to find the most agresive tread pattern I could find, and this was the one. The ONLY one, in fact. Most manufacturers want to sell you some wimpy mom & pop road tires, and there were a limited number of options in this tire size when I bought them. I’m a rockhound and spend a considerable amount of my summers on dirt roads in the mountains of Idaho. So I bought a set of these, and now I’ll never buy anything else. They perform well in all terrains, winter & summer. There is no road noise at higher speeds, the handling is super. And for a truck style tread, they have lasted a good long time. I believe their 65,000 mile warranty is accurate. I really can’t say much about the fuel efficency, since my car sips gas through a small straw anyway (25-30mpg in the summer). I doubt anyone buying these tires would note any difference from what they already get. They want me to rate the ice braking, but there are’t any tires that brake well on Ice, so that’s not something to consider when you go looking for tires. They perform quite well in snow and slush though. My car will wear these shoes for the rest of it’s life. And my next vehicle is likely to get the same treatment. Buy these tires. You won’t be disappointed.
