So you get what you pay for which fits the bill for this oven. So many good things about it thus the five star reviews.You need two D batteries, which aren’t included for the rotator. I bought 4 so I never have to worry about running out of rotation. I turn on the rotator while heating so the stone evenly heats. Motor is well geared, so it is hard to imagine any rotating issues.The auto rotating feature, the size, and the price are why I purchased this pizza oven. Love the rotating feature and can’t imagine an oven without it. Does a beautiful job evenly cooking. Have a 14in oven with a 10 inch peel may be fine, but it is nice to have a bigger one in my opinion.This one offers the BTUs freely. 11,600 which many other don’t share. That is on the low end. Given the size and desired temp of 750 degrees or more for the store, heating is a problem. After 30 minutes I covered a majority of the front with a piece of foil, and that helped push up the temp pretty quickly. Now that is my go to. Tinfoil with a magnetic strip on the top and bottom sticks to the front and top of the oven. Then you have a magnetic pizza door.Once this thing is up to temp you get rolling fast. Cooking time is short and time in between cooks is low. After two or three maybe let it heat up for a bit again. You can make bigger pizzas to avoid that if need be.Easy to set up out of the box. Pull out feet are great. It lacks insulation which all pretty do in this price range. When you to temp outside get around 130 to 200 degrees. The plastic of the motor housing isn’t even warm to the touch.Makes great pizzas and rotating keeps the edges cooking nicely. A really great product. If you want rotating then this is a great pizza oven.I question tye ability of this pizza oven to get to a high enough temp in 40 minutes. I think with a make shift door you are looking at around 30. Mine vents a lot so that may even go down to 20 if I make the holes smaller.I will say at night you see the flames hitting the top of that oven hard. Also, the click ignitor works great.
