Deciduous tree. Superb late season fruit: very crisp and tangy, more flavorful than Granny Smith. Excellent keeper. Green with dark red blush. October-November harvest. Discovered in New Zealand in 1952, grown in U.S. since 1980s. 700 hours. Proven very productive in trial with much less chilling than the estimated requirement. Self-fruitful.
