The OMC Soloist is a comfortable build with refined features. It started with a request from guitarist Eric Schoenberg, who had been dreaming of an OM with a soft, minimalist cutaway. Dana Bourgeois built prototypes, later partnered with Eric to found Schoenberg Guitars, then worked closely with C.F. Martin to co-produce the Schoenberg Soloist, the first cutaway guitar to come out of Martin’s fabled Nazareth workshop. Perhaps more importantly, the original Soloist helped re-launch the long-forgotten OM, now the world’s second most popular steel-string guitar. This excellent condition 2019 Soloist build features Madagascar Rosewood back and sides paired with an Aged tone torrefied Adirondack Spruce top and bracing, Ziricote bindings Soloist multi-stripe purfling and 1920s-style pyramid bridge – otherwise sparsely adorned save for Dana’s trademark slotted triangle Soloist heel inlay. Few guitars lay stronger claim to the term “Modern Classic”.Other features include Soloist multi-stripe top purfling and wood ring rosette, Ebony fretboard, Aged Tone torrefied Adirondack Spruce bracing, Madagascar Rosewood wedge and heelcap, DB Signature wood arrow back strip, Abalone Pearl diamond square fretboard inlays, Madagascar Rosewood headstock overlay, Gold Waverly tuners with Ebony buttons, Bone pins with black dots, 1 3/4″ nut width, 2 5/16″ saddle spacing, 25.5″ scale length and more. The soft and comfortable venetian cutaway allows access to the highest register and expands the voice of this premium professional grade instrument.Includes hardshell case.Free shipping in the continental united States.–
